On the new laptop, I open TB and create a new subfolder under Local Folders to hold the WLM mail to be imported. The WLM message store was exported to the hard disc from WLM on the old laptop. However, I have failed over and over again trying to import my large WLM message store that is stored on a hard disc connected to the new laptop via a USB port. I am now trying Thunderbird as I like the single row format with flexible columns similar to WLM. I am NOT technical, and tried Outlook first, but did not like it. To ensure security, I have been trying hard during the past month to switch to a new email client on a brand new laptop. Unfortunately, like so many other good programs, MS abandoned it a few years ago.
I have been using Windows Mail/Windows Live Mail (WLM) for years and love it. *If you should have any trouble, turn to our support team at. Go ahead and try it out, you will not be disappointed. You could be using a better email client in just a matter of minutes. It will then take the information from the file and place it safely into eM Client. You can then choose where you want it to be stored and click on finish. If you have a file you want to import, all you need to do is click on it, and then browse your computer to find the file. It will then pull all the information it finds from it. When you click on one of these options, it will automatically find the program on your computer.
You will see an option that says “Import….” When you click on that, a window will appear with many options for importing data. Once you do that, open the program and click on File. There's no email client out there with as many awesome features as eM Client.īut wait, are you wondering about your data on the other email client?
